I am a 2019 Master of Landscape Architecture with a background in graphic design.
My interest in landscape architecture began as a way to merge my career in graphic design with my passion for cities, public space, and nature. As a designer, I want to create spaces that promote community well-being and contribute to a sense of belonging. I believe this can be as simple as providing a comfortable seat from which to people-watch or as complicated as devising a unique, adventurous place that evokes a sense of wonder and awe.
As a graphic designer, I worked with Zipcar, Brooklyn Boulders, The Boston Preservation Alliance, Paradise Copies, GenArts, Lexmark, Tactivate, Serif Group, and Captain Jack’s Roadside Shack, among others.
Originally from Northampton, Massachusetts, I moved to Vancouver to attend UBC in 2016. I have also studied or worked in New York City, Boston, the U.K., and Lexington, Kentucky.
When I’m not working you’ll find me trail running in the North Shore mountains, rock climbing in Squamish, or wandering Vancouver’s neighborhoods, all with my trusty pup, Rupert.
